Q: Is Joy FM changing its format?

Absolutely not. We love Southern Gospel. We believe in the power of the music. We believe it is REAL MUSIC and by that we mean that it stirs the soul. Joy FM commits to play only the very best in Southern Gospel music.

Q: What happened to JJ Moore on the morning show?

JJ approached management about coming off the morning show. He has to drive over an hour to get to the main office in Winston Salem. He asked if he could do underwriting in Asheboro and do a weekend show. We wanted to honor JJ for his faithful service. We readily agreed to his request and are thrilled to have him on the Joy FM team.

Q: Does Joy FM have plans to expand?

Yes we do – and thanks for asking! There are many opportunities on the horizon for Joy FM to grow. We’re looking to Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia and South Carolina. As these dreams become more of a reality – we’ll update you.

Q: Is Joy FM playing commercials?

No. We launched a new network air play clock at the end of August. During that time, Joy FM filled some of the time with public service announcements from the Ad Council. We apologize for any confusion that might have caused.
