Joy FM's Oreo Contest Joy FM recently took a page from NBC's "Minute To Win It" show & tried the ultimate oreo challenge at one of our concerts. Dr. Vernon Baker, founder of Joy FM and Positive Alternative Radio, dies at home “I am saddened to report that Joy FM has lost its founder, Dr. Vernon Baker. The memories are sweet. He would love to tell stories of his life and quick to share the love he had for his wife. For those of us who are ministered to by Joy FM, we are indebted to his vision of seeing this network birthed. I’d ask that you pray for the Baker family during this difficult time. As believers in Jesus Christ, we have the confidence that we will be reunited in heaven. In the words of the Legacy Five song, “There is a hello after goodbye.”
