05 Dec Christmas Ornament Nostalgia
I love Christmas ornaments! I especially love the ones that have been passed down from year to year and have significant meaning to me. The ornament above was made for me by my 6th grade teacher. She took an egg, hollowed it out, covered it in red velvet, sequined around the opening, and then hot glued a tiny reindeer inside. It’s my absolute favorite ornament. It reminds me of such a special year with that particular teacher named Janice Williams. Oh, how I wish I could show her that I still put that ornament on my tree every year and it makes me think of her and the unique way in which she could make a child feel so very special.
